Four Wrexham Women named to Genero Adran North Team of the Season

Delyth “Del” Morgan – Goalkeeper

Del played in 11 league games and only conceded 5 goals.  Pundits seem to imply that in the final game of the season that Wrexham were not the strongest of the two clubs.  But, Del took control of matters.

In addition to her toils between the pipes, she teaches others how to toil effectively between the pipes.  She possesses a UEFA A Goalkeeper’s License and coaches at Connah’s Quay Nomads for their Academy and with Liverpool’s U-21 team, all in addition to her time with the Welsh U-19 club. 

TJ Dickens – Defender

Listed as a mid-fielder by the club, TJ joined Wrexham in the fall of 2021.  She contributed 3 goals from the back line.  The most impressive being her free kick strike from distance in front of 9,511 at the racecourse against Connah’s Quay Nomads.  A beautiful curling-dropping shot edging just under the bar from distance.

With Wrexham joining the Welsh Top Flight, Dickens will be relied on having experience in her career in the top division.  

Amber Lightfoot – Forward

Winner of the Adran North Young Player of the Season, Nominee for Genero Adran North Player of the Season Award, and a member of Team of the Season.  A healthy hoard of hardware for the 22 year old attacking mid-fielder/forward.

Amber is a Wrexham academy product advancing through the U-19 program and into the senior side.  She spent time with Liverpool before her return to Wrexham.

Rosie Hughes – Forward

Adran North Team of the Season, Player of the Season, and a massive 42 goals (24 in the league) has the 27 year old with 90 goals in 38 appearances. 

At the conclusion of the season, her 24 goals had here 8 goals ahead of teammate Amber Lightfoot as the league’s top scorer.

Known through smiles, tweets and all reports as one of the most genuine, authentic, and happy people on the planet – there’s something to be said for talent and character and Rosie embodies it all.
